Spokane Valley Archery
« on: March 25, 2011, 05:50:02 PM »
Went to Spokane valley archery to get a new string for a bow and the customer service was horrible. They acted like we were total strangers. After we left the place and went outside we looked through the bucket of arrows in a small trash can. We thought these were garbage so I picked one up and as i turned around the older gentlemen that worked there came out and yelled as if i was deaf and stupid. Maybe I shouldve asked why they were there first, but I think honestly he had no right to yell. He couldve told me nicely and I wouldve taken it a lot better. Just because go to shoot 3d's there once a year doesn't mean I don't lose arrows there. I don't know if this goes on with everyone that goes there but I ask about bowtech bows and they just say we don't carry much of their stuff cause it doesn't sell. To me it seems like they talk as if bowtech's are just horrible and hoyt is the best or something. Customer service is horrible, the guys that work there have bad atitudes and for the ones who don't know much about bow's they talk to them like they're stupid. I am never going there again!!!!!!!

I have found that you have to get "in" with the shop to get any kind of decent service most of the time. That's part of the reason I started doing everything my self.

As for people taking arrows out of the bucket that aren't theirs, well, it pisses me off too. Not saying the arrow wasn't yours, just sayin...

my experience. To a T. Go to chewelahs Camo D Arrow. Lady red will treat you first rate. I personally know several people who have left SVA and gone to chewelah.

I see that I am not the only one that has had bad experience at SVA. The customer service sucks, and the prices are over inflated. I swore I would NEVER go back there. That was 5-6 years ago, and I have not been there since. I am amazed that place is still in business.

I agree with you all, I went there once and it will be the last time. They don't want to bother with you unless you want to spend $2000.

I agree, Red at the Camod Arrow is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them. They are located a couple miles north of Chewelah along HWY 395.

Used car salesman have less shame than these guys. I looked at the Hoyt rampage xt out there.  I liked the bow, it was 130 dollars cheaper than the one I was planning on buying at $599 so I was seriously considering buying it.  It took about 5 minutes before he had the price in the mid $900's with accessories.  I had already told him I had a one yearold sight and rest I was planning on using.  Of course the ones I had were crap and had to buy theirs. After I heard about the $950 bow, he tried to sell me a membership for another 125-150 (can't remember the exact amount). The $599 dollar bow was $1100 before I knew it.  I also got the feeling they wanted no part of pulling the rest and sight off my old bow and putting it on the Hoyt.  He explained how easy it is to install them and I could just do it myself.  I told him I wouldn't have the money for a couple weeks then drove straight to wholesale and bought the g5 primal.  No plAns of going back anytime soon.
