Ummmmmm you do realize that picking up antlers attached to skulls is illegal in this state right???????
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

And for that matter it looks like they've been out there a while . . . Could have been bucks they took themselves and just left outside to weather.

Awesome collection!

There is some serious mass in that pile (and not just the cow  :P). What a pile. Almost seems a waste, so many people spend so much time looking, yet it appears if you have the right food source in the field you just have to pick them up. Looks like a pile from a large farm, that are just picked up as the fields are prepared for the next season. Cool picture.

Devin had you been a little faster you could have pushed her down and got a double atl picture to post  :chuckle:. Just kidding I promise. Thanks for posting.

Yeah it is sad to see them out in the weather like that but we have a couple farmers down here that don't care for the antlers either.  They shoot some huge bucks and just chop the horns off and throw them out by the barn.  They just toss the sheds out in the trees so they don't hit them with the farm equipment.  Do you think they would let me go look for sheds...no.

oh yeah there are some massive sheds in there! there is mostly whitetails and muleys, and some little elk and some cow bull skulls. They have alot inside there shop also, mostly all last years and this years. They have had the ranch for over 50 years and they just keep throwing them into the pile. There are also alot of degrated ones along it also. The pile made my jaw drop when i first saw it.
