I have had salt blocks and trophy rock snagged by people too very stupid if anything you would think they would start hunting the same spot instead of taking it? with 50 lbs salt licks only $10 doesnt make sence

I would guess he already hunts the spot and was pissed to see someone else put an arsenal of game cameras in the area.

 :yeah:

possible. he may rifle hunt this particular area. Cams were spread out over 600 yards along the treeline, as the crow flies.

We only bowhunt here, usually in treestands and have never spotted another archer in the last 3 years.

Its still a shame to have a dick like that in the woods. Let him buy his own salt block

You should set up a Burmese tiger pit.  It'd be "La la la la, oh another free mineral block..." then "aaahhhhh, splat!" right onto dung dipped bamboo spikes.

On the other hand, moving the gear was probably a better idea.

pretty sad that there's people like that out in the woods  :twocents:

You should hang a note on the camera, saying Smile, we just captured your picture remotely. :chuckle: Then go pull the card and post the pic on here. Likely someone will know who it is.

Not trying to defend, but was there heavy rain?  My salt lick was ruined by rain, and the only thing left was a red stain on the plants.

In 3 min? that would be one huge rain storm!!  :dunno:
The salt block is the least of the issue. The fact he tried to damage the other cam with his stick would have me pissed!

Too bad they don't make cameras with nitro glycerin in them....then the problem would fix itself :chuckle: :chuckle:

They make this.  Picture this in a case mounted to a tree. When they remove it they get hit. Or set it up so when they take it home and open it up it gets them.
