Depends on how well you take care of them and how.often you shoot. I replace mine every other year. If not every year.

It just depends. I like to tinker and am usually never satsified. :chuckle: I'm on my 4th string on my maxxis in the past year. 2 were the garbage fuse strings and they went quick. 1 was a winners choice and I was not happy with the performance. I am now using a crackers string. I haven't used it much so the verdict is still out on that one. Keep in mind I was shooting upwards of 100 arrows at least 5-7 days a week. That is probably not needed. I'd say if u shoot a lot every year.

Depends on the string and how much you shoot. If you shoot a ton you will burn threw one about every year. Most people will get 2+ years out of there string. If its starting to look nasty and chewed up, GET A NEW ONE! A guy can get hurt bad when they break, ask my buudy down the road. Also if you get one early" before it gets close to the seasons" it will save you having to reset everything last minute and give you a chance to break it in.

On my hunting bow I can get about 2 years out of a string. On my 3d target bow I get about a year out of a string. I do a lot more shooting with my 3d bow.

I just had my bow tuned. Had new WC strings and cables put on her. I can't believe the difference it made. My bow just seems smoother. I noticed it is quieter now too.
