deep snow in the wenaha

just got back from shed hunting in the blues snow is really deep have never went to wenaha in april but i dont see anyone hunting it on the opener even if you came in from troy think the snow is to deep im guessing mid may what do you guys think?

well your way to high if you are in snow that deep looking for sheds... we saw 300 elk around troy area.. no snow anywhere unless you get up on top

ya not looking for advise on shed hunting i got that down was wanting to know how guys hunt wenaha for spring bear skyline drive 46rd and 64rd will not be driveable for a long time i know the washington side of the blues very well i guess you guys know some other way in to the wenaha.i dont have horses so am going to hike when the snow melts. i guess i never thought of coming in from oregon i dont know that part very good

The roads open up on April 1st. Air down your truck tires and follow the toyotas on up there. There will be snow up there into May for sure. Also, did you find any bone?
