Contact the BLM and they can provide maps showing land ownership - public/private color coded.  USFS, DNR are other great sources for public land access and maps.  And of coarse, there are millions of acres of private timber company lands (primarily on the west side of the state) most of which allow bike, horse, or foot access.  no motorized vehicles.  They typically open the gates for modern firearm seasons after the rains come but us bowhunters bike or hike in from the gates.  Timber companies color code their gates, so you will learn who owns what over time just by gate type/color.  Not everything you need, but hopefully gives you a start.  If you narrow some areas, shoot me a PM and I'll help you find some critters to hunt.

you on the west side or east side?  I can give you some general areas to start scouting just about anywhere in the state.
