Well maybe if they'd just post the friggin results when they drew them(last Saturday) or better yet earlier in the year for people that have to put in for vacation leave from work, they wouldn't be receiving all these calls!  I.E. Spring Bear-Posted the results two weeks before the season starts!  Not a whole lot of time to plan!

If you actually think they ran the draws last saturday, I suspect you've got another thing coming.

WDFW doesn't even run the draws. A company called "Outdoor Central" does. The receptionist lady that was so polite to help you has no clue when another company in another state ran the draws for us.
 :twocents:

Exactly!  Another prime example of how jacked up our state is in regards to our permit draws!  Point is if they know it takes this long why not have the draw earlier in the year!

I'm sort of with you and sort of not with you...
The website clearly says results will be available by the end of the month. understand that maybe it takes longer than it should but the results are most always out when they say they will be out.
We're not the only state to use the Outdoor Central to run draws.

But I think were the only state that can't send a special permit out by more than one day before that permit season begins.  Thats assuming it comes in the mail today.  Be really sad if it doesn't come today as the season starts tomorrow and I don't have my permit yet!  I'm no rocket scientist but to me thats an issue that needs to be corrected!

No offense but I'd be calling someone at WDFW and find out WTF is up...

They told me that they were hoping the results would be on-line by tomorrow afternoon/evening. Mail notification sometime next week.

At least you arent alone on that.  I'm just of the opinion that the DFW is full of inept scat-heads, so assume anything theyre supposed to have done will likely be finished weeks after, and usually incorrectly

I actually appreciate the  WDFW and thank them for all the hard work and hours they put in so that I may continue to do what I love. I would hate to be their shoes, trying to please all user groups and having to work around all the other entities out there that drive us all nuts.

P.S. If any of the employee's at the WDFW are reading this and can hook a brother up for some good props I would love to draw a Bull moose tag this year. :)   Yes I am brown nosing!
