Lets see them previous Spring Bears
« on: March 31, 2011, 09:09:11 AM »
Ok guys/gals...

To get the blood pumping for our spring bear hunters (like they need the help), lets post up any Spring bear that you have harvested and the area harvested in (if you like). I will get us started....

this was out of the Monroe unit 09...

Mine had no fat at all on it. Maybe thats the difference between a west side and east side bear with the harsher weather??? I mean zero fat. Her  stomach was about the size of two basketballs and was completely stuffed with grass and weeds. I didn't weigh her but the Taxi said given the length it'd be an average 200 lb bear if it were fall and she was fattened up.

Mine hardly had any fat on it either.  Mine squared right at 6'3' and was long and lean.
