Some great info and it's appreciated guys.
I got a chance to look close at the new Spot Hogg Bullet Proof pins the other day. Darn nice. Great design. Since Spot Hogg will set up your sight with mixed pin sizes and in any color configuration, that's probably what I'll do when I get ready.
There's so much good stuff out there these days a guy can't hardly go wrong.

.019 is the way to go! .029 is a little to big on targets 40+ for me and .010 is hard as heck to see and the .019's pick up more light. I shoot to 100 yard in practice. .019 is just right for me.
:yeah:
I re-pinned my Spott Hogg last fall with the wrap in .019 and they are just right and I also shoot a little over 100 yds in practice!

I have a wrapped SDP with .019 pins. If I were to buy another one I'd get the top four in .019 and the bottom 3 in .010.

If two different pin sizes is not an option for you I'd get the .010 for all. Sometimes I feel that the 19's are too bright. In full sunlight I like to wrap the wrap with some black tape to get rid of the "pin halo" effect.
I also have the .019 pins and I use a wide rubber band so its easy to remove and put on when I move between tall timber and cristmas trees.

Sun's been out the last couple of days. I noticed that my red pins are much brighter than the rest(yellow and green).

When I buy a new sight it will not have yellow pins. they either seem to be to bright or not bright enouf depending on the light.
