I'm taking my coworker over to Chewelah on the opener, he got me my elk last year. So I told him I would take him and his girlfriend turkey hunting. We will leave the coast after work and drive all night and set up in the morning on the 15th. He really wants his girl to get a bird. I will do my best to make it happen. :IBCOOL:

Good Luck All!  Planning on hunting the NE the first couple days of the season and also back over on the third weekend.  Sounds like the opener will be a bit sluggish with the cold weather.   :dunno:

Hey guys.  New to the site.  I've been turkey hunting in Maine, but this will be my first solo trip and my first time hunting in Washington.  Be up in the Colville area on the 15th for the opener.  This will also be my first time hunting on public land.  Should be very exciting!  Good luck everybody.  It's been a long winter and I just can't wait to get my sights on a bird!

Well, if the government shuts down, there will be lots of people with time on their hands that will be out turkey hunting.

I will be out all of the weekends!   :IBCOOL:
Yelp, after you get your 2 turkeys in the first 30 minutes, what are going to do then?
Do you substitute blanks in your buddies guns, so you can help them get their turkeys on future weekends?
