Turkey Success
« on: May 04, 2008, 08:15:33 AM »
Well, finally after three previous turkey hunting trips I was able to pull the trigger on a couple of nice Rios in Southern Oregon. The first one had an 11" beard and 1 1/4" spurs and the second had an 11" and 8" beard and 1 1/4" spurs. The wait was well worth it. I will try and post some picks in a couple of days. I am now addicted to turkey hunting. Now I will be looking to find some Merriam's.

Smile a little or are you struggling to hold that bad boy up?

I think it wasn't all the way dead and just pecked him in the nuts.

Great job on some real nice turkeys.
