Kokanee and Burbot.  There isn't camping on the lake but pretty close by.

170 feet, super clear water.  Yes, they are "lings".

We fish for them in about fourty feet of water right off of a rocky point. We use glow in the dark buzz bombs tipped with night crawler. Get it on the bottom and slowly bounce it off the bottom. When you get one it almost feels like you've snagged something and are dragging it up.They don't fight too much.

We usually just catch a couple a piece and call it a night. The average size we catch is probably 25-26". It's fun especially after we fish for kokanee during the day. I have also caught burbot from the dock with a worm on the bottom during the day.

Yeah we troll for them up there using 4-5 oz. banana weight with a lake troll and wedding ring tipped with maggots. Caught a few rainbows and brown trout while trolling for the kokanee I believe there are cutthroats in there but have never caught one. Biggest trout the family has caught up there was an 8lb rainbow. It's nice since we own a cabin on the lake. State record brown trout was caught in sullivan back in the 60's. I believe it was 22 lbs.

Yeah i heard that whole state record thing, but i thought it was a cutthroat. I know this is a different thread topic, but have you ever been up to helmer mtn. East of sullivan?
