It is a nice bow, once you get past the "different" look of it.  Shoots incredibly well.

I am a fan of the QAD drop away rest, but mist hunters will swear by the Whisker Biscuit.  And rightly so, it is a great foolproof rest.  If I was shooting vanes instead of FOBs, I would shoot with a Biscuit, no question.

I like the Spot Hogg whammy arrow rest - probably one of the best fall aways out there! IMO

I'd go LimbSaver all the way, their rest is rock solid and quiet.

Congrats on a nice setup,

Any of you Whisker Biskett fans ever have trouble with it freezing up during severely wet and cold weather? That's the only negative I've heard about it. I'm trying to decide on which rest to go with too.

My hunting partner used one during the late Muley hunt in the Okanogan a couple years ago.  It was single digit weather with a lot of snow and his Whiskers were constantly packed with frozen snow.  I've read about a spray that is supposed to prevent that?

Of course I shoot the Trophy Taker and I had to keep an eye on it because it was freezing up and working stiff so they all have their weak points.

I haven't had any problems with the whisker biscuit freezing on me, if you get snow in it just push it out with your finger and you are good to go. You can also use stuff to water proof it, but I never have felt the need. I think if you go to their website they have a product specifically designed for making sure the whiskers don't become frozen.

This link to cabelas has a product to fix the problem http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0014598415264a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=whisker+biscuit&N=4887&Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=whisker+biscuit&noImage=0

ive been using a biscut for about 4 years, ive hunted with it in 95 degree weather threw 17 below weather, its never iced up beyond use for me. im thinking about the fobs myself, im puttin the qad rest on it, for a fall away it seems nice, compleatly capturing the arrow, no  falling off. i like it. last time i used a fall away i was drawing, and my arrow fell off the rest, i put it back on and shot the deer. but i replaced it with the biscut, no fallin off arrows, its a great rest, but i want to try somthin deffrent. now what relese tho, humm, im using a tru ball stinger, think im gona switch up tho not sure to which one.

Love my QAD for the most part.  I had one contact issue with the FOBs, but think that is fixed now.

For a release, I was using a Cobra, but have switched to a Tru-Fire Hurricane.  So far, I love it.  Crisp and light and adjustable.
