The Methow is Thawing
« on: April 02, 2011, 07:18:03 AM »
I like to check this site to see how the Methow thaw is progressing.

http://www.methownet.com/methowwebcam.html

If you click on each picture it will pull up a series of pics from the last 24 hours.

Last week everything was white!!! This means its time to wonder the hills and see the sights.

I'm headed over tomorrow to open up my cabin and scratch around a bit for a few days - still lots of snow up our way at Newby Creek but the south slopes are open for hiking around - Who knows maybe I'll find a dead wolf
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

Well to those planning on coming over be advised that WA pass won't open until late MAY (predicted) and last word I heard Stevens was closed indefinately due to avalanche and road out.  Also be advised that unleaded is 3.99 - 4.29 and Diesel is 4.49 to 4.69
