Youth Success!
« on: April 02, 2011, 11:41:02 AM »
Well i got out this morning and filmed Dylan on his first ever turkey hunt.. Dylan is our good buddy Matt Mimnaughs son and we had a textbook perfect hunt this morning.. I was able to film from 2 angles from the time they came off the roost about 400 yards out till he hammered this gobbler at 20 yards! It should make for a great show next season :)

Atta boy, kid! Way to get it done!

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Just saw your show yesterday for the first time.  The kids were hunting for turkeys in wa, which is what grabbed my attention.  Really good show. There was something about the video that made it seem more like hunting rather than a tv show. Maybe that doesnt make sense, but when i watch some of these turkey hunts it just doesnt look like anything I do.
If it looks fishy, fish it. If it doesn't look fishy, fish it anyway!

Glad you liked it Seatown :) We try to keep it as straightforward and down to earth as possible with all of our hunting and the way we document it.

I will pass all of the congratulations along to Dylan :)
