Its a Barbary Chukar Maverick.  There are som more shots of him somewhere here.  He is captive, or is some of the time.  The turkey is an escape artist.   He is bound and determined to get out to kick the othe Chucks butt and he has no problem coming through me to meet his goal. :chuckle:

He's got lots of competetion Deerthug.  There were 5 or 6 of them posted around calling.   Several of them paired up.   I've been building habitat (brush piles) for them.   They love to nest in them.  I got pics the other day of "him" I think coming out of one nearby where he was calling.  He DID NOT want to leave.
