I feel your pain. I live on whidbey and here there is only a few ranges. All of which you have to be a member to shoot at. The one that is close to me wants 300 bucks initial charge, plus over 300 per year. We can't just go shoot in the woods either, because rifles are not legal on whidbey for hunting. Luckily I have a buddy with a giant sand pit on his property. But its still a pain because I can't just go shooting when I want, I need to make sure hes okay with it.
