Going scouting in the greenwater area soon. Anyone poke around in there before? Not looking for super secret areas and hot spots (don't know why this always has to be said). Just wondering what to expect and what the terrain is like.
Its the goin'.....Not the gettin'

You won't be able to get into a lot of the good areas due to WAY too much snow!

Its a draw only area, you probably know that just making sure. I wouldn't waste a lot of points on that tag due to the infestation of indian tribes that slaughter the elk in there.  I've hunted the area for over 20 years and have killed a few bulls up there, they are sometimes hard to find but if you put some miles on your boots and get away from the roads it can be a fun hunt. I liked to get one near town just to piss off the locals, they think that herd is theirs to protect. It's a pretty good local herd but you want to make sure your on legal ground.  The backcountry kicks butt, that's about all I can say about that. I wouldn't waste anytime in there looking for deer, there are much better areas.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
