Sorry, I thought about that later. I was pretty soaked from walking through the wet brush and didn't want to get the camera any more wet so I had put it away. It was a pretty "sweet" looking apple sunday. Later, when I check the cam I'll have some footage of me walking up with the second load of grain and the trophy rock. I'll make sure to post something that shows the sundae.

Nice looking box. Those drywall screws will snap right off. They have no shear strength at all. The box looks like it was made for that camera? I made mine out of an old electrical switch box.

The box is from Bushell and yes, it is for the camera. I'll put heavier screws in it if they snap them off. We'll just have to sit back and see how it turns out.

So, the new camera is unmolesed and working well. Problem is I filled a 4 gig memory card with bear videos in three days. The silly buggers just laid around and basically lapped it up. They even built a little bed and did some napping. All day, all night, all bears. There is some music with the vid, Jimmy Buffets Gods Own Drunk. There is very minor swearing but for children with sensitive ears you may want the volumne off.

The vid is there. It's about 6 minutes long. A lone bear in apple heaven...

I like the song choice.....buddy bear with his island size paws. He expected me to do two things, flip or fly, I didn't do either one, it hung 'em up. Love it. Thanks for checking it out.

So, one week soak with two pressed blocks. I'm hoping the bears will be less interested and the deer will be more into it. Well, it kind of worked. A one week soak resulted in 426 new pics. Cam was set at 8mp with singe pic trigger and 1 minute lag. Lots and lots and lots of bears. I believe I have one boar of good sized, one lone little fella, and one momma and little one. Basically, the pressed blocks, yeah, they chew on them and roll them around like a chew toy. Also had a coyote come in for a sniff. Here are just a couple of the new ones. While up there I changed batteries and put out two new pressed blocks.

Bears, bears, bears. The wife and I went out last Saturday to put out two new blocks and change out the card. The bears waited less than two hours to come in and check things out. I got one pic of nothing but fur....cam is undamaged. This time out I put a pile of peanuts, a pile of buckbran, and a pile of wet cob. Under the buck bran is a redspot salt/mineral block. It was only a few bucks so why not. Lots and lots of pics of bears, one yote, and one surveyor.
Here we go.
