Halibut are May9-10,17,22-25,29-31, June 7
It costs about $100 to run to spots for the day so...
Gear, heavy tackle, big gigs, squid,heavy weight

Head to the boat launch and stick up your thumb. I see people along the highway all the time doing that and they aren't there very long

Anyone have an open seat in Westport on the 21st or 22nd? I am an experienced fisherman and boater. I will pull my load with bait,gas,etc.

I have a friend who is also looking for a boat out of Westport for salmon.  He has had his own boat in the past and knows what it costs to run one, he is welcome on mine anytime but I can't get out there anytime soon.  :-(

I'm going to try to hit the last of the San Juan blackmouth season Saturday and Sunday.  If you can get out to Lopez Island, I can pick you up at Hunter Bay boat launch.  I'm not sure what time I'll be out but it is not too far to the dock.

No guarantees of course.     I have gear unless you have a favorite rod/lures/bait you want to use.
