2011 rule changes
« on: April 14, 2011, 09:25:55 AM »
i was just reading the 2011 regs and when you come to the part where the permits for dog hunting would be it says....From 2004 until 2010, the Department has implemented a cougar hunt with the aid of dogs in portions of the
state under specific legislative authority. The Legislature is considering whether to terminate or extend the
program. However, at the time this pamphlet went to press, the Legislature and Governor had not made a
final decision. As such, if the cougar hunting program with the aid of dogs is extended and adopted into State
law, the corresponding hunting season opportunities will be published in a separate document.
Check the Department's website at: www.wdfw.wa.gov\hunting in late August–early September 2011 for potential changes to cougar hunting seasons.......now does this mean we wont have time to put in for any couger permits with dogs at all? aug to early sept is a long ways out

They need to make money off of us somehow. They will have a drawing if they allow dogs.

I also noticed that they cut goat tags in the goat rocks from 5 to 3. I just don't understand why there's so few goat tags.  :dunno:
