Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

Thanks guys.   Devin, I hope I see Hood again this fall.  I wanted his sheds so bad, but haven't even got to go look for them yet.

Awesome pic as always Doug.  How does that work for the cover, do you submit a bunch of photo's and they choose one, or do you pick out the one thats best to you and submit it?
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

I gave them 8 this year to look over.  I hadn't even heard from them so didn't figure I was even in the running.  Then I got the good news in an email.  That was takin in the Nile Dman.

Do they solicit photos for a given type of animal in a given year?  Or is it more of a random thing?
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Thats pretty darn cool, congrats again.  Any chance you can show us the other pics that you submitted?  Your pics are I think a highlight for everyone on the site.

I think they have ideas what they want, but if you follow the covers, you can kind of have an idea.  Like I assumed they didn't want a deer pic this year, so they got some sheep and some elk and so on.  You guys have seen them I think but I can certainly repost them.   There are a few I am holding back for possible use in a magazine.  They want exclusive rights to them.
