Tough Hunt, But...
« on: April 21, 2011, 07:51:51 AM »
Tough hunt this year.  Weather (at least in our area) was terrible, birds were in weird places and very quiet once they hit the ground.  Managed to find 2 nice birds, but it was harder than most years.  Sad to be done shooting for the year, but I'll keep going out and looking at em!  Hope the weather warms up, those morning sits were pretty cold!!

Good for you. Two very nice birds and a great picture.

Good work.  Nice backdrop for your photo. Doesn't get much prettier.

I thought it would be pretty easy over there be Emersons. But the weather was pretty crappy this year. You wouldn't happen to know a over there that runs around in a white toyota truck with hunting stickers on his cab windows would you??? :chuckle:

Whiteknuckles You might be thinking of the archery guide that works out of the Hunters area-saw him a couple of times last year and it seems he had a white toyota. (personally I have a silver Ford F150)
