long range shooting classes
« on: April 15, 2011, 06:37:59 PM »
i know of some long range shooting classes that are being held in athol, id if anyone is interested.  the way the classes are broken down is first there is a 101 class real basic,
then a 201 class that will have some in class training and then out to the range to do work out to 500 yards.
a 301 class that will be like 201, but out to 1000 yards
then finally a 401 class that will be anything over 1000 yards.    the price is cheap only 35 dollars so far.    you get a t shirt in the first class and in the 201 class i think there will be a shooter of the day award. there hasnt been any of the 301 or 401 classes ran or planned out too much yet, but they are going to happen.
if you want contact info let me know

it is fun.  sean is just getting these classes going so scheduling and all is rough. i am not too sure when the next 201 class is, but there will be another soon. hoping to get some more people interested in doing some shooting/ long range shooting that are serious or can do it so that the planning of classes and events is a bit easier.   it is free to register, so go ahead and get on there and ask some questions and read some of the stuff floating around rite now.

on the home page there should be a section to watch talking about the classes  then some where on there there should be a calender or register for classes and that will show you when classes are   i am not sure when classes are scheduled rite now due to sean the #1 man being busy rite now. i will talk to him and see when we can get some stuff going.

I'm interested as well, however the website is very hard to navigate or get any information off of. Could you or Sean jump on here and give us some more information? Dates/times/locations/cost/background and experience...those types of things?

If they really are $35 a class, I'd sign up if I saw that there was a class scheduled and it wasn't too far from home...

rite now there are not any classes scheduled.  we are kind of needing to see how many are interested to have a class. the first 201 class only had 3 shooters show up when there was about 10 or so signed up.

the classes are 35$ each       and are held in athol/ silverwood area of idaho.

i got a thread going now in the "general discussion"   named 'long range shooting class'  if you go in there and reply to my last post asking who is interested in the classes then i will get some people on there and talk to sean about getting something going and get some classes planned out. he already has a bunch of people ready to attend some classes.  when posting on there or even on here post a couple weekends that work for you that we can work with and try to get everyone on track.

if there are other questions let me know.

thanks guys

I know it may be too late for this but if they are offering the classes this year I would be interested.
