White salmon gobbler
« on: April 16, 2011, 10:35:54 AM »
Cold wet but got er done opening morning.  Never seen this much snow.  The day before was a white out with drifts of snow 3 ft...then it rained..nice 35 degree rain it was miserable.  Decent bird with a 8 inch beard.

Vegetarians?..Vegetarians are cool.  All I eat are vegetarians....except for the occasional mtn. lion steak.

Congrats.

Did you pee in the snow right in front of the bird's head?
Don't eat the yellow snow.

Congrats it was nasty day. I spent 9hrs and it rained every second of those 9 hrs. I only saw 5 hens. First time in 4 years I have not killed atleast one bird on opening day. It was tuff hunting for sure!
