I've had a Bighorn for five years now. Great muzzleloader.

I shoot 110 grains of pyrodex pellets( 2-30gr pellets,1-50gr pellet) with a 310gr. Knight sabot bullet. Will hold a group under 3" at the 100 yard range. We have seven of them in our hunting group, and straight form the box they were all pretty close on sight-in. A couple didn't even need to be touched, they were dead-on. Hopefully you got the thumbhole stock, as the regular stock is a bit short on the front and it will make it top heavy on a sling. That's really the only thing I can complain about, other than I did switch out the original ramrod for a T-bar. Anyway, keep it clean and oiled and it will shoot like a dream for a long time.
