You go down the gravel rd, you go left it takes you to crab ck ( water from moses out of the spill way), you go right it takes to the dyke. its al the same water. Was out there yesterday duck huntn and going again tomorrow. There is lots of carp rolling now and the water is very clear, easy shootin, should be able to shoot a couple hundred or until you cant pull the bow back anymore :)

April, May, June. I have shot them before and after that, but you have to be patient. Find a spot with some cover fairly close to the shore and wait. I will shoot an arrow out to wet the string, and many times they will follow the arrow back. Polarized shades are a MUST HAVE. I did good in waders this year, but I usually take a boat. Night time is good, but I have only done daytime for some years now. Once you find some, stay there and wait if it has been slow all around. They will make the rounds and be back. My big dog loves to wade in and either sit or just stand and watch me, and they will come and check him out! I got a few that way this last year. Felt my heart rate go up just thinking about it! I smoke them and eat them just like smoked salmon. Have friends that eat it smoked since they tried mine. Lots of meat on them!  8)

Don't drive past the spillways to get to the lake either.  If te water levels are right, those spillways are as good as a barrel.
Dreams are forever on the mind, realization in the hands.
