There has been a few bucks posted up from the area 8) You might want to try a search and see if any of them pop up. The late hunt can be hit or miss with the special permit. If you are on private ground you should do just fine if you are looking for a good buck. Good luck with your hunting up here

weather is the key factor.. you can see zero deer one weekend and the next there everywhere.....

A lot of it also has to do with the cat population. They move the deer around a lot. If you get into a area with a lot of cats the hunting can really suck.

Can't post pics from this computer, but here is a link (with pics) to the buck I took in that area last year. What general area of Greyback will you be hunting, north, south, west, east? I'm starting to see alot of deer moving back up. Good luck.

I love those mixed up Hybrids. They have the best looking racks to my eyes. Something unique about them. I've taken 2 off them just north of that area. 1 goes 145, the other about 135. I've seen other big ones from that area and they all seem to have one thing in common. Nice eyeguards!

I'll post another picture, but it's blurry, and that's why I didn't post it in the beginning. I am really disappointed that I didn't get any pictures in the field, but forgot the camera.

Here's one from the early 70s my dad got. More Blacktail than Muley rack wise. I need to get it mounted some day. Scored 151 gross NT.

those are great bucks but dont get your hopes up ive hunted there for years and yes private helps but theres alot of people in that unit and not all the bucks look like that some areas of the unit lack the minerals of the nutrition needed to grow big antlers and but there is one thing it doesnt lack and thats the number of deer
