Yeah, those were Jasons first two birds with a bow. One had 1" spurs and the other had 1 3/16" spurs, they were also both VERY heavy!

Good looking birds Matt !  When I was over, I didnt see anything but 2 damn hens !  Hope to make it back asap !

Those are some of the better spurs I've seen in Eastern WA.  Lots of nice birds up here have smaller or blunted spurs compared to the easterns I use to chase in MO.

It looks like one of those birds from the double is darker. Ecspecially in the pic where they are both laying on the road. Might it be a hybrid or full on rio.  I got one that looked just like it once, but it was very much in merriam territory. 
If it looks fishy, fish it. If it doesn't look fishy, fish it anyway!
