XDM 40 all they way 16+1 and the best semi auto on the market. Period! I have shot them all and can own any of them. But I trust my life every day to my xdm 40. The m&p 2ND " they are a very good gun" but I have found the ones that I have shot to be picky on ammo. You could not pay me to own a glock. I have shot a dz or more of them and never liked the fit or the groups that I have got from them. Plus had more malfunctions with glocks. I have run a little over 1k rounds threw my xdm and not had 1 malfunction or problem.
Many many many people and many many law enforcement officers will argue your statement. Plain and simple. This is like a Chevy vs. Ford discussion.
Look at the L.E. agencies using the Glock worldwide.
