Double
« on: April 23, 2011, 01:33:04 PM »
Happiness is a little beaver first thing in the morning!!

Put out two traps yesterday and caught two nice beavs this morning.  One was a whopper, the other was a good sized beaver but next to the big guy it looks rather small.

:dunno:   Beaver is legal bait....as far as I know??  Am I wrong?  If so set me straight.  As far as I know as long as I skin it I can use it.

According to the Idaho regs, beaver are classified as furbearers.  I cannot use game animals, so unless you can point me to another section, I can't see where it's illegal to use beaver meat as bear bait.  Any help would greatly appreciated.  I like to do things above board.
