Well for the first time there this year i agree will have a better game plan for next year...we got to oak creek at about 515 and got out to stretch looked up on the hill and 2 guys and a dogs already headed across the hill  :nono: talked to a few guys at the gate that have been doing this for awhile. was thinking we would be in good shape going straight up the hill side up the road aways untill i saw the horse posse riding through the area hahaha which i thought was a great idea cover alot of ground and sit up higher? we walked through a draw up the creek thinking that we might find some where they crossed but all my 12 year old son found was a old letherman someone must of dropped during hunting season ( does that count as a shed) lol had a grat time and wow there was alot of people not as bad as i thought though...

I think they ended up having a chat with enforcement for being in before the actual opening time.

Again kudos to Eyesin the Woods for their efforts

The interesting thing I was noticing about Oak Creek was that I didn't see any one the people on horseback with any sheds.

lots of horses at joe watt to but did not see any with horns.  Most of the horses get there a little late.
If it aint broke, dont fix it.

My buddy sent me an email of their picks. Their group of 5 guys came away with 16 sheds. One set of 6x6 sheds that are around 300.

teanawayslayer.we did see the group of deer on the hill. The group of bucks were on the north side of I-90 in the median at the stop sign. Also talked to three guys from idaho that found 12 elk sheds. One was really nice. While out hiking bumped into two different elk herds and one bull that ran 10 feet in front of me.
