Custom Osteo in North Bend used to keep records. Not sure what ever happened to those records. Maybe we should start a catalog here.

Here's my largest coyote skull at 11 7/8", and a version of measuring tools I use for skulls.
May the morning silence be broken with the wisp of vanes trailing blades to their mark.

I was admiring the nice device @rcher made up for measuring skulls, and I considered making one for myself. (Who knows why.) When I went into my shop I noticed something.  I could use my table saw as-is to measure skulls!  OK, not conveniently or portably:

I read the number off the fence:

Just giving this one a nudge since I'm a huge fan of keeping small game records, and I'm working on a MT song dog right now to add to the list.

You guys and gals have any new ones to add?

Thanks for bringing it back up @rcher. This post always interested me.  Although I'm the biggest dink yote shooter around, my friend got one last year that is an absolute donkey.  It hasn't went into the bugs yet, but once it does, I will post pics.

Cool, I'm looking forward to seeing that big'un as well.

What do you guys think about just opening this up to all small game skulls? Maybe start a new thread?

Credit goes to bucklucky for thinkin it up.

Kind of a small one isn't it Rasbo???   :chuckle: :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
