Nope, lose points in both and can only harvest 1 elk.  You can hunt both of the permit season though, but when you kill, you're done.

Not much of a chance to draw both.  I would put in for both.

Any math guys compute those odds?

If your odds were 2% for each (?) would it be 2% X2%=.0004, or 1:2500 to draw both?

Help me out here....

I have no idea how to compute that.
But I'm thinking that .04% chance of drawing both sounds about right.  :chuckle:

Actually it's about the opposite! I called it last year if you draw 1 you will draw the other (bull&cow) :bash: the wdfw doesn't want you to have the points for the next year to draw again! I did it and I know of many others that had the same thing happen to them  ;) Don't get me wrong the points I had to lose in the hair tag area was worth it to get my bull!

Exactly right.  If you want to know the odds of all events occurring, multiple the individual odds together.

Yeah i would agree with that. My father got drawn for bull and a cow tag last year, and gave up the cow and took his bull so he was excited. This year I am putting in for both bull tags, but no on the cow permit, just so that doesnt happen to me this year.  :chuckle:
