dont know wher he picked it up but he did .. now the fight is on, antibiotics & fluids.. He is very week now and cant keep anything down. kids are pretty broken up about it..Hope he pulls through. We lost our other yellow lab on Aug 10th and dont want to put the kids through that again...

sorry to hear, stay with the program the vet has laid out. she can make it.
we had a Sheppard get into some salmon skin some jack ass through over a fence into a f'n dog park!
she was in bad shape for several days, but made it through. lots of chicken broth, medications, and love.

I had it happen to a couple of my dogs years ago. Both pulled though fine. It can be beat, just hang in there.

the bad thing is the vet was chasing his tail trying to figure out what was wrong. Did a stool sample saturday but the said it was just worms by last night he was really bad, wont touch food and drinks very little.. going to diffrent vet first thing tomorrow morning for IV fluids maybe.. funds are getting very low, hitting my pocket book pretty hard, wife asked when is enough, I feel I owe it to him do do everything I can for him, but feel a hard decision may be coming my way. The whole family is pretty tore up about the whole thing....
