just said it could go either way , seen dogs that looked good not make it and dogs that looked bad pull through. fingers are crossed but in my heart i dont feel good about how this will end up...

Dang Elk.....that sucks big time. Think positive thoughts. Dogs feel stuff like that. Stay close to her and she WILL be fine!!!

Had him on IV fluids all day yesterday to get him hydrated. I was up avery couple hrs to feed him little bits of food and water using a syringe, He is stilll very week but this this morning I did not have to manually feed him he ate from his bowl..

Wow...if he ate on his own things must be getting better! My lab got salmon poisoning when she was about 2 years.... I could tell she was feeling bad and thought maybe a game of fetch would pull her out of her slump, so I picked up the dummy and she didn't even get off her bed.... I immediately took her to the vet, cause that dog would much rather have been dead than not played fetch!

SHe made it to play fetch many more days....
