Possible world record deer coverup.
« on: May 06, 2011, 07:57:27 PM »
Have any of you heard about this before.  :dunno:  I had a link to this story on my facebook page yesterday.  Any buck of this caliber deserves a fair panel measure to judge its true potential.   Here's the address to the story.  Sorry I'm not sure how to post the link here.  Maybe someone else dose.            http://www.deeranddeerhunting.com/king-buck

Politics are everywhere and possibly a little of Cartman's "respect my authority".   Heck of a buck.

That is one heck of a buck and would like to know more of the story.  This would have been a good "guess the score" pic.  I, for one,  would have never guessed him over 200 let alone 220 surpassing the Hansen buck.

No doubt! But if I was to get a glimpse of a rack like that through a wall of brush and forrest debris I'd prolly just open up in the general direction also. I know aiming would be pointless with the adrenaline kick an animal like that would cause.   :chuckle:

seems pretty straight forward, renaeu scored it wrong, and to avoid ridicule and looking bad he refuses to allow it, it's one man changing the record books, shady work. it makes B & C look completely incompetent and makes you wonder how many other fine bucks got passed over due to politics...lame

Personaly to me, it looks like an abnormal point. To me it looks like if you took that point away and added a full point where the little start of a point is toward the end of the main, the rack would be symetrical (sorry not versed on whitetail rack lingo).

I think they should let the "Panel" measure and decide.

exactly, even if it is abnormal, the fact that they wont allow the process to unfold is rediculous

They should let the panel measure! Isn't that what they are there for! I agree it looks like Renaue doesn't want his ruling over turned.
