Skykomish River
« on: June 03, 2008, 01:26:14 PM »
Well I figure I would write this thread to see how many fish the sky and if any have had any luck over the last few days. Well up again at 3:30am and on the river at 4:30am and nothing. One steelhead hooked up but lost. I once again caught just a sucker. This year seems so far to be great for steelhead as now at the mouth of the wallace there has been about a dozen summer runs caught, which has us amazed as usually there are only few caught there. Kings are slow but coming. There is around a 100 or so in the hatchery. It is suppose to be a good year for them, but we will see. In the 2 days now that I've been out nothing really rolling but steelhead. There are some reports that the steelhead are now up as far as proctor creek. Heading out again in a couple of days to try my luck once again. Always fun just to get out and today was a water log day. The rain can go now :)
Hunting and Fishing is not what I do. But who I am...
