"Security cameras captured Stephen Lee and Curtis Felts each walking off with a set of antlers, police said. Investigators are now checking to see if the actual theft was caught on camera.
The victim is a 56-year-old professional elk hunter from Idaho."

One set of antlers had a score of 522 inches appraised at $500,000 and the second set had a score of 486 inches appraised at $15,000, Richard said.

All I should mention that they figure its a matter of time before Pennsylvania has the new world record.... I grew up in western P.a but up North in Elk co. is where these monsters are living ....I do remember one story as a kid about a blackman going into a tavern yelling a screaming how he just killed the biggest whitetail known to man and come to find out he shot one of those elk .... :chuckle: :chuckle:  True story my Dad could tell the story better !!!
