These are a couple pics a buddy took this spring....






And some watertypes....


Anyone know what kind of gull this is?






"shooting a Nikon D90 and the lens for the grouse shots was a Nikon 70-300VR" not sure on the waterfowl what lens?

The seagull is actually a Common Tern, they are fun to watch when they are feeding how they dive striaght into the water. Here is one i got the other day

Franklins Gull.  Looks like those shots are from Montana. Certainly not a Tern. The Tern in the bottom pic looks like a Caspian. About twice the size of a Common give er take.

Grasshoppers and other bugs bring em in during the summers in E Montana. Population is not what it used to be...like many other critters.
