Added to my pack today (Updated 9/7)
«
on:

Picked up the little girl I'm holding today at Ireland farms (Worn is the breeders handle on here). The mother dog Whidbey is at my side. My older lab Echo is still trying to come to terms that she isn't the only lab in my life right now. It'll all be good in a week or so. They are currently sleeping together in front of the fire.

Nah that's the mother (Whidbey). She's still with Warren the breeder. This is my old dog Echo who is now having to come to terms with the puppy being here. House was puppy proofed Saturday. I'm ready...

Good looking dog. How much did the speeding ticket add to the cost?

Yeah Chelan's finest added $113 to the cost of my pup. First ticket since 1992. I don't make a habit out of speeding. Just had the pup on my mind...
Who BTW, has crawled into one of my boots and is sleeping. That type of thing can only smell good to a puppy. All I can see is the butt and tail hanging out. Very cute...

Thanks for the email update on your girl! Can't wait to see updates on how she progresses with training and the relationship she and Echo form.

Well here's an update on Bella's education and growth. She has learned how to heel, sit, stay and come at a little over 13 weeks. We will start working retrieving into her training now that the obedience seems to be coming along. She now weighs in at 27 pounds. Growing like a darn weed. Seems to be learning from my old lab the art of hunting moles. She has a infactuation with shoe laces. To date that's the only casulty at my place. Nothing else destroyed... Here's a couple updated pic's.

It's been awhile since I given an update on my girl. Well my girl Bella is now 5 months 2 weeks old, she weighs in at 52#s. She knows the obedience pretty well (sit, stay, heel, come etc). She does pretty good on the retrieves. Is having some issue coming to grips working with hand signals. I think we'll get it eventually. Any time I take her out in the marshland or beaches for walks she always finds and picks up dead birds for me. I know her nose is working good. Anyhow, she's a work in progress. Between myself and my old lab Echo she should be able to graduate into a good birder! Here's a few picks of her from a proud papa...
