It appears you are quite close to the sow and 3 cubs. I would have been very nervous.

Not trying to be a jerk, but you are seriously asking for trouble there, unless the camera makes it appear alot closer than you really are.  Your just asking for a charge and then you'd have to put her down.  I get a bit ticked when folks push the envelope and then have to put a sow down for them being to pushy.   :twocents:

Good luck with your hunt and I love your show so far.  Just a thought to keep in the back of your mind (heck you probably already do this) but some camera shots are not worth it, for you or the game.

Bad juju there...3 almost full grown cubs and mama at close range. Probably about as dangerous as it gets when it comes to cubs with mama IMO.

Dont worry boys, There wasnt any chance of the sow getting shot. The rifle was in the truck..
We were careful to have a safe bear to Matt / Matt to truck ratio ;)

Remember you don't have to out run the bear, just outrun your partner....  :IBCOOL:

Today was our last day to hunt with Cariboo Mountain outfitters.
IT was snowing like mad when we got up, but finely around 5 PM we found a bear. Not the biggest one in BC but I was stoked to be able to fill my tag on the last afternoon.
