The year was 93 I was 16.  As you could tell I had a little buck fever.  Great thread.  I had to dig this pic out of a box.  Brings back some good memories.

1974; near Livingston, Mt.  It was great hunting right out the door of our house.  I got him with a Rem. 742 in .308.  Not the greatest gun for a new hunter.  Don't miss it at all.

This is my first buck, taken out of unit124 near Newman Lake. Shot with a Browning A-bolt 30-06 one shot and down he went I was 19.

Wow, thats a helluva first buck!

Here's my first buck, age 15 (2005) November 17 NE WA. Brought him in to 40 yards and put the 30-06 thump on him.
