Cool video man! Awesome to get those kill shots on tape. We just recently a couple years ago started dragging along the video camera filming hunts. It's the perfect way to capture those memories.

Nice poke, man.  Enjoyed your story, too.  Sounds like a fun hunt in some great reprod.   :)

AWESOME!  What kind of camera are you using?  Takes very nice video.  Made my night watching a local blackie hunt, thanks!

Thanks for the comments guys!

The camera is a JVC Everio GZ-HM300BU.  Picked it up at Walmart for half price when they moved from Moscow over to Pullman.  It works good enough.  The quality is much better than what YouTube plays it like.  YouTube only lets it play up to 480p I think while the camera records in 1080.  Don't know a whole lot about it other than that.  I'm sure the quality isn't TV grade, but it works great for hunting DVD's for the hunting party!

And yeah, I love blacktail hunts! My uncle shot a meat spike the day after and I got that all on video too. It was one heck of a hunting season made that much better by the fact that I got 90% of it documented with the video camera.  I didn't get all the kill shots on camera because it was often in the heat of the moment, but got plenty of footage to remember it by.
