This photo was taken this morning in the woodinville area.

I'm not bear expert.

How big you "experts" think the bear is?

Can you tell male or female?

I used to live just south of Woodinville Duvall Road and we had regular visits from the neighborhood bears.  Even a couple of false charges from the porch last year.  No real bruins though.

Its an obvious color phase, due to the color of the mud. As it walks with a slight limp to the right,  I say its an older bear, known in these parts as grey back. He can be found eating souls in his spare time....

best be cautious...

Cannot agree more.  Good assessment.  Limp to the right due to a fight for the teat as a cub.
