Great Story!  Great Pictures!  Great Adventure!  Just like many other hunters on here, we hope to one day take the same kind of adventure that you did and experience it with family and friends. I don't know you, but feel that I was connected in one way through your story! Thanks, Paul  :hello:

Today we had some time to kill and went for a hike.  I know a spot with a few goats and I wanted to get some pics.  We saw 3 of em on a rocky ledge and hiked about 2.5 hours around on them to see how close we could get.  I come off the point of rocks.......very steep and a bit dicey only to find all 3 goats bedded straight below us 10 yards away.  Way cool, I'll sort through the 60 or so pics I took and post a few more tomorrow.

Thought I'd share a few more pics from the hike we went on.

Then we went to see how close to some goats we spotted.  I've always wanted some upclose pics.  We about stepped on em.  I like this pic.  It is of them 10 yards below us still sleeping.

Then they started waking up...

And on the way out saw this guy...he must have been below the others and out of sight of us.

Great bear hunt!  I'm really jealous of the goat pics!  Everytime I get close enough for a great picture of some, either I don't have my camera out yet, or I screw up the stalk, or just don't get a good shot.
