That thing is a beauty! Seems to be pretty rare to find someone who really does a good cat. Seems like something is usually off.

The head on that cat is perfect... WOW! One of these days I"ll snap some pics of my cat mount. Its pretty dam good... I bet you guys would know the guy that mounted it, but I cant remember his name anymore... I think he was out towards Black Diamond or Ravensdale or something like that... back in 89'....
There is a taxi in Libby, MT that does cats as good as Soucy... absolutely perfect cats...

From his website
http://www.philipsoucy.com/
1/3 deposit is required before tanning.
Additional charges include: grease burned skins, extensive alterations, major repairs, hardwood bases, crating and shipping.
Cougar, Wolf, Black Bear Starting at $3,900
Sheep, Goat, Leopard Starting at $4,100
African Lion Starting at $5,700
Grizzly Bear Starting at $5,300
Brown, Polar Bears Starting at $5,700
Small Mammals
(Bobcat, Lynx, Wolverine, Caracal) Starting at $1,850
Open Mouth $300 - $500
Cast Rock Starting at $350
These prices reflect poses that require a minimal amount of form alterations. Many of the poses on the website are customized for specific locations in trophy rooms. The more specialized a mount becomes the more labor is involved thus adding cost to the project. With more restrictions on public land it is becoming more difficult to obtain habitat material. There will be additional charges on certain habitat, primarily trees that have extreme character due to the fact that they generally grow in inaccessible places and take much effort to obtain.

Awesome Lion. I would love for him to mount a lion for me if I ever kill one. Not sure if I could afford him though.
I wonder how much the one in the picture cost.
