A great Saturday
« on: June 02, 2008, 07:20:54 PM »
Found a few and the beer was cold. The wives drank most of the beer and we ate most of the Morels ;)

Some nice ones for sure! Gotta get my Sunday foray pics posted. Lots around Cle Elum. Had the heaviest Morel bag Ive ever had after 5 hrs picking.

What are those?
I would rather be a conservative nut job, than a liberal with no nuts, and no job!

There a mushroom that appears in late spring. They usaually start lower in elevation and move up the hills as the season goes on. Very tasty, nutty, meaty mushroom.

Uh,  :yeah: Bob forgot to mention that they're extremely poisonous. So by no means should anyone pick them. If you run across any please PM me with a GPS location so I can eliminate the patch. Otherwise someone may pick them, eat them  and go  into convulsions. (that symptom only occurs when you eat too many)  ;)
