Sow & cubs.
« on: May 15, 2011, 07:41:53 PM »
I got about 40 minutes of video in 30-second increments one day last week of this sow and her two cubs. These are the same bears I ran into a couple weeks ago. Then they went up a tree and I was able to get some video and pics before they came down. They have not been around much this year and this is the first time they have been back. They fed on grass off and on all day and into the night.

There were two videos of a large bear about 4 hours before this series started but they were fogged in and hard to view. I found one very large pile of crap along with the medium and small piles. I am hoping that there is a large boar hanging around. Last year there were two boars in the area with one being very large.

About half of the videos are of the bears on the periphery (both left and right) but there are quite a few of the cubs feeding on grass in front of the camera, often only a foot or so from the camera.

Sow and her cubs.

The next day these two stopped by for a visit.
