My 2nd year out turkey hunting I ended up with 1 tick each time I setup for 3 straight times ....  :yike:

Stopped, went to town, and got some tick spray ... not another problem.  Now part of the routine to get 3 or 4 cans ... hang clothes, etc in the ventilated garage using hangers and the garage door track ... once sprayed and dried the smell goes away and it lasts the entire season .... now no worries.

Don't think you spray it on your skin --- please read the direction.

Update:

Well, I've never been more thankful for a trip.  Just over a week ago Gramps died.  After we hunted together in May he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in July and in August he was gone.  Everyone should try to really enjoy all the time they get to spend with while out.  I would never have thought that this would be our last turkey trip together.

Sorry to hear this. I almost lost my dad to a heart attack this year. I could never replace that hunting and fishing partner. I'm glad you were able to turn a sliver of information into a successful hunt and memory that will last you your lifetime.

Hit me up next spring and I will get out on a hunt with you. I just got back from over there and saw a lot of birds!

Sorry for your loss GD! I definitely understand as I lost my 35 year son and turkey hunting partner to cancer March 7th - the spring hunt just wasn't the same ... the only saving grace was my numerous turkey hunting friends and they were so appreciated this year.

Thanks PM ....

Definitely make as many special moments with family, friends, and other love ones ... no guarantee that there will be any more that will be shared ... just glad I have a truck full of those to remember fondly.
